14-year-old Peter Short has only ever had one dream in life—to become a kick-ass investigative reporter for his Central Otago community.

But when his efforts to uncover crimes & misdemeanours go ludicrously awry, he must rethink his commitment to citizen journalism.

Fortunately, a groundbreaking story – and a sheep named Daisy – may be just around the corner…

The 11-page script for CENTRAL UNCOVERED has been vetted by a script editor and a Short Film Otago reader and is ready for review by potential producers. Elinor wrote & directed PULLING UP STUMPS in 2023, so she has experience filming in the Otago area, as well as connections to local crew.
