SYNOPSIS

Peter Chang, a sweet & earnest Midwesterner, is on his way to an international relief job when his employer calls to say the position is no longer available. Suddenly, Peter finds himself in Budapest – unemployed, unable to speak Hungarian, and with no clear direction in his life.

But a chance encounter with an eccentric & unstable artist named Miklós is about to change his fate. When Peter volunteers to help find Miklós’s brother, he gets involved in a complex plot involving revolution, revenge, and government corruption.

Now Peter is on the run in Budapest, being stalked by shadowy figures and aided by a wry engineering student named Eszter. It will take all of his courage – and his wits – to discover how events of the past have led to the betrayals of today.
