Dill has spent her entire life as the slave of a Massachusetts family, trapped in a world of in-between.
But liberty is in the air and Dill is growing up. When she begins a love affair with the new minister, she sets in motion a chain of events that will lead to a stunning – and unexpected – conclusion.

A development reading/workshop took place on May 25, 2020 with AEA actors and Boston filmmakers and Elinor is working on revisions.
