Fred the Skeleton is getting all pretty for Halloween! To celebrate the publication of The Treasure of Mad Doc Magee, Elinor is heading back to The Blue Bunny Books & Toys in Dedham, MA (577 High Street) on Saturday, October 20th.
This Gold Rush-themed visit will include an author reading, a mini treasure hunt with cipher clues, and the chance to pose with Fred himself! The event is suitable for all ages, but tweens and middle graders are especially welcome.

The Treasure of Mad Doc Magee is a funny, heartfelt, rip-roaring puzzle box of an adventure about grit, guts, and gold (ages 8-12). Two feisty girls serve as the protagonists.
