Bookshop Visit – Blue Bunny Books & Toys: April 20, 2016

April Vacation Week is Invention Week! To celebrate her children’s novel, The Mechanical Mind of John Coggin, Elinor will be visiting Blue Bunny Books & Toys in Dedham, MA (577 High Street) from 11 AM – 12:30 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 for hijinks and mechanically-minded silliness.

Chock full of crazy characters and weird words, Elinor’s humorous adventure for boys and girls (ages 8-12) has already received a Kirkus Starred Review. Published by Walden Pond Press/HarperCollins, it’s available through Amazon, IndieBound, and all major booksellers.

Elinor will be reading aloud from her book at 11:30 AM. Hardcover copies and lots of super-cool books about inventions, science, engineering, and construction will be available for purchase. Write your own signature next to Elinor’s when she autographs your copy!

Here’s one example – BUILD A CAR DISGUISED AS AN ANIMAL – but we don’t want to spoil the others! Come and pick your own challenge. We’ll have lots of LEGOs available.

That sneaky verbal acrobat, Boz, is running amok in the games department! He’s put together an amazing Dictionary Scavenger Hunt and assorted game handouts. If you like word finds, anagrams, and mad libbish silliness, this is the place to be.
